Heat mode, which is identified by a sun symbol in the AC remote control, is the best option for winter use. If your AC does not have the heating mode, as many older models don’t, you can use the fan mode (on lower fan speed), to warm up the room in winter. As warmer air moves upwards and cold air sits on the ground, the fan will move warmer air from the ceiling towards the ground making the room more cosy and comfortable.
